Palestinian prisoner dies in Israeli detention center

The Radio said that Ahmad Ismail Samara, in his fifties, died at the Hasharon prison. Samara is from the central West Bank city of Ramallah.

He was arrested in 1989 and was sentenced to 21 years imprisonment after he was convicted on “criminal charges” and of staying in Israel without a permit.

It is worth mentioning that a detainee died several days ago in an Israeli detention facility. Israel only said that he was found dead in his cell.
