Soldiers shot a Palestinian who allegedly tried to snatch a soldier’s weapon

The Palestinian man was injured in his stomach and was moved to a hospital in the central West Bank city of Ramallah.

The army reported no injuries among the soldiers, and said that the incident took place while soldiers were operating in the village.

U.S. giving Palestinian security forces top-level training

So far, the program has produced 80 graduates divided into two 40-student classes. A third class, made up of commanders from the Palestinian National Security – the largest security force with 15,000 members, tasked with policing borders, providing military intelligence, military police services and presidential security – is currently being trained in Jordan.

Reuters journalist among two injured at anti-wall protest

One of the injured journalists, photographer Sa’ed Hawwari, works for the UK-based Reuters news agency, according to protest organizer Iyad Burnat in a telephone interview with Ma’an. He was taken to a hospital in Ramallah after suffering a gunshot in the leg, presumably from a rubber-coated bullet.

Dozens were injured by tear gas that was fired on the demonstrators as they approached the separation barrier near the village.

Hamas spokesperson spent first days of Gaza war protected in Fatah home

On the second day of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum fled and hid in the home of a friend, who was affiliated with Fatah and regularly “coordinated with the Ramallah government,” he revealed to journalist Thursday.
